Overview:

The Separations and Bioprocessing group in the Applied Materials Division (AMD) has an opening for a postdoctoral appointee. This position will involve developing and scaling cost-effective methods for separating and converting materials using electrochemistry. The researcher may also work with companies to research and validate unique lithium-ion battery recycling processes. This will require innovative approaches to solve challenges that go beyond the use of pilot scale or commercialized equipment. As such we are seeking candidates that have demonstrated the ability to design and build their own experimental apparatus to solve challenges.
